Our Approach
Accumulate TIF Bonds
LFC is uniquely situated to take advantage of market inefficiencies by buying and pooling TIF Bonds, which are initially unrated and too small for large institutions to underwrite as the average deal size is less than $10 million.
Obtain Credit Rating
We purchase TIF Bonds to meet conservative underwriting requirements, which enables us to pursue investment grade ratings for our pool of bonds
Monetize Portfolio
We use the credit rating to sell our pool of TIF Bonds to an institutional, large fund investor such as insurance companies and pension funds.
Our Team
John Cranley is an attorney at Keating, Muething, & Klekamp where he practices in Real Estate Group and is co-chair of the firm’s Government Affairs practice area. John focuses on complex public-private finance, where he has extensive experience with tax increment financing, New Markets Tax Credits, and municipal bond issuance.

John also has extensive municipal bond experience that includes helping to convert private taxable bonds issued for the renovation of Cincinnati's Fountain Square and Gateway Quarter public parking garages into tax exempt bonds.

Prior to re-joining KMK Law, John served as the 69th Mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio from 2013-2022

David is a Principal for Clous Road Partners, a commercial real estate firm. David has over 20 years of experience in the commercial Real Estate industry. His work includes the acquisition, development, and re-selling of office, retail, industrial, senior living, and multi-family properties. David is also a Principal of CNG Holdings, Inc., a diversified financial services company. Previously, David previously worked as a banker and Vice President with Provident Bank and Provident Securities and Investment Co., a broker dealer in Cincinnati, Ohio. While there, David earned his Series 7 General Securities License in addition to his Series 24 Principles License (both designations are currently inactive).

Andrew is a Partner with Bradley Payne Advisors. Prior to joining Bradley Payne Advisors, Andrew worked for William Blair & Fifth Third Securities for a total of 12 years, where he led both firms’ expansions in the Midwest region leading both to be among the top underwriting firms in the State of Ohio. Mr. Brossart led the firms’ Development/Tax Increment Financing transactions and Special District Issues. Additionally he acted as lead banker for Higher Education, School District, Utility District and local government financing needs. He has 24 years of experience in public finance and has significant experience with the region’s leading issuers.
